To put on the belt of truth is to walk in the truth. To walk in the truth is to oppose all
manners of falsehood and to be obedient to the word of God. It is to walk in integrity,
sincerity, transparency, openness to God, yourself and others. It means the absence of pretense, insincerity and hypocrisy .
A single lie produces a chain of lies, when you tell a lie you would tell another to cover the previous one and the chain keeps repeating itself . We end up being liars.

You may ask: Why do I need to put on the belt of truth?“The truth stands the test of time; lies are soon exposed.” Proverb 12:19
“A good man is known by his truthfulness; a false man by deceit and lies.” Proverb 12:17
“Lies will get any man into trouble, but honesty is its own defence.” Proverb 12:13
A single lie produces a chain of lies, when you tell a lie you would tell another to cover the previous one and the chain keeps repeating itself . We end up being liars.
The truth always wins; the truth pleases God but lies displease Him; the truth will buy you integrity and trust, it will protect you. You do not have to keep track of previous lie.
A liar flees when no one pursues, but he that walks in the truth is bold as a lion. He who speaks the truth fears nothing and have a clear conscience; a clear conscience fears no accusation.
Walking in the truth is the basis of our boldness. Absence of boldness is fearfulness.
Put on the belt of truth.
