Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Love cherishes
Husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. —Ephesians 5:28
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. — Eph 5:25-27 NIV
Love is honorable
In the same way, you wives must accept the authority of your husbands. Then, even if some refuse to obey the Good News, your godly lives will speak to them without any words. They will be won over by observing your pure and reverent lives. ……In the same way, you husbands must give honor to your wives. Treat your wife with understanding as you live together. She may be weaker than you are, but she is your equal partner in God's gift of new life. Treat her as you should so your prayers will not be hindered. - 1 Peter 3:1-7
Love is thoughtful
How precious also are your thoughts to me . . . . How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. —Psalm 139:17–18
Love agrees in prayer

If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand. —Mark 3:25
Love is God/God is love

If anyone says, "I love God," yet hates his brother, he is a liar….
— 1 John 4: 20
God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him. Anyone that does not know God, do not have the capacity to love. “He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” — 1 John 4:8 NKJV
Love promotes intimacy
Love forgets mistakes; nagging about them parts the best of friends. (TLB)
Love prospers when a fault is forgiven, but dwelling on it separates close friends. (NLT)
— Proverb 17:9
Don't just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other....Don't be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don't think you know it all.
Do all u can to live in peace with everyone. Don't let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.
Finally, all of you should be of one mind. Sympathize with each other. Love each other as brothers and sisters. Be tenderhearted, and keep a humble attitude. Don't repay evil for evil. Don't retaliate with insults when people insult you. Instead, pay them back with a blessing. That is what God has called you to do, and he will bless you for it.
—1 Peter 3:8-9
